Vinita, Oklahoma’s 5th annual Route 66 Festival June 14 and 15 has a line-up of entertainment as popular as the Main Street of America itself. Event goers can enjoy a carnival, shopping, live music, inflatables, car show, block party, food trucks, STEAM alley, free family games, fishing derby and more. The Vinita Friends of Route 66, a non-profit organization, hosts the event to celebrate the historic Mother Road, provide residents with a great day of fun, and bring visitors to Vinita and local businesses.
“The goal of Vinita Friends of Route 66 is to help our community grow,” said Board member Dennis Patrick. “Giving residents a source of community pride and bringing customers into the doors of local businesses are our goals. We are very excited to be celebrating our 5th Festival and hope people plan to come out to enjoy all we have planned.”
A schedule of Festival activities, vendor forms, and other details can be found on the Festival’s website VinitaRoute66Festival.com.
